Hey,
I'm seeking info on this $ENGINE_PAR_TRANSIENT_SIZE but can't find nothing. I wonder if there's a way to trim the start of a sample based on its transient (basically to avoid the silent portion at the start of the sample).
Any ideas ?
Thanks !

Instead, adjust the Sample Start parameter.
Hey Corbo,
thanks for responding. It's a drag and drop instrument so i wanted to be sure there's no easy way to cut the blank part at the start of sample before creating a sample start slider. A tedious and inacurate way, imo. By the way i found zero info on this $ENGINE_PAR_TRANSIENT_THING, so i'm still wondering what it's for.
I had a three years hiatus due to serious problems and lost many of the few ksp knowledge that i had, so a step backward that i'm trying to recover. In the meantime ksp progressed…
Well,
Thanks,
ENGINE_PAR_TRANSIENT_SIZE is an engine parameter for Time Machine 2. It won't help you cut the silence at the beginning of a sample… you'll have to do that by hand or outside Kontakt.
Ah ! Thank you very much, Medusa.
