My S61 mk3 keyboard is under warranty. Some keys on the keyboard always plays at maximum velocity. I created a ticket (4640171) on September 23. It appears that my keyboard needs a new keybed. It is still not repaired. The repair company said that they have 30 keybeds on order and they have been waiting for parts since September. They said parts MIGHT arrive in December.
I asked NI to just send me a new keyboard since mine is under warranty. They said they can't do that….but they could send me a refurbished unit.?!? If they have refurbished units, then why can't they send me a new one and keep mine to use as a refurbished unit?!?! Why do I have to go months without a keyboard?!?!
Could someone help me out here? I'm frustrated, the people who do the repairs on this are VERY frustrated also. No one can give me a timeframe of when I can get a keyboard.
Is this NI's way of treating new customers ?!?!
