DBX 286s compressor & Traktor S3

Hi. I have just got hold of a DBX 286s compressor to improve the sound of my voice when recording radio shows with my Traktor set-up. I have managed to get my mic audio to come in through LINE D by connecting the compressor output to the mic input on the front of the Traktor S3 but wondered if it was also possible to connect the two by using phono jacks and the LINE D inputs on the rear of the S3? I just tried but don't seem to be getting any audio through - didn't know if I had to change any settings within the Traktor software first.

Hello,

normally you set this physical input (D) to go to the deck you want to and set this deck to live input as far as i know, also set this input to mono is a good idea (just set the left input). You could also use the aux input within traktor for the mic that way you don´t loose a deck, of course only if you don´t need some mixer functions for the mic.
