Hello, I cannot uninstall NI Komplete from my third computer because it has broken down. I want to deactivate the licence on this computer so that I can install it on a new one, but I do not know how to do this. The hard drive has broken down.
You don't need to uninstall or deactivate from a damaged drive. The licence allows you to legally use the software on up to three computers but there's no licence counting on Native Instruments software. Just throw the drive in the bin and install on the new one.
Thank you for your reply. I have read that NI Komplete Ultimate can be installed on a maximum of three computers. The problem is that I have this programme installed on two computers and one laptop. I do not know if the laptop can be repaired. The damaged hard drive is the main problem, but I think there may be something else wrong with it. I would simply like to throw away my laptop because it is very old anyway, and I want to use my new computer, which I recently bought, as my third computer. Is there anything that can be done about this? I would be grateful for your help.
Yep, just toss it in the bin and forget about it. Licences for Komplete state that the licence can be installed on three devices, but it's not counted anywhere. A lot of companies use things like iLok or other authorisation methods, but (so far) Native Instruments don't do this.
I've had the same thing happen before when a laptop I used for DJing met an untimely end and there was no problem installing on a new one.
Wow...!!! Thank you very much for your help...!!! That saves the whole situation. I thought that during installation on a new device, there would be some kind of automatic block from the manufacturer, but it's good to know. By the way, I would like to add that I have had this package for a long time. Maschine 2 software is so stable that it has no competition. It has managed to crash FL Studio and, for example, software from UAD. Maschine is unrivalled. A big bow to Native Instruments. Best regards!
