Abbey Road drummer instrument only opens in a tiny, unresizable window when running through Maschine 3 in a DAW (Ableton 12 in this case), and most of the controls can't therefore be reached. Anyone got a solution ?
I am not disagreeing with the fact that it may work fine everywhere else in 4K. However that is not the actual issue and is irrelevant to your specific problem.
Until NI decides to address this (whenever that may be) - if you want it working in Maschine (as a plugin) - you will need to make changes. Plain and simple.
Or not - and use it as is.

What resolution is your screen?
resolution is 4K (UHD)
That is your issue
Change to standard HD (1920x1080) @ 100% scaling and all will be well.
Not aware of any No NI product that is specifically designed to fully support for 4K resolution - regardless of what monitor or display you intend to use.
not a solution, also not true, it works perfectly fine in 4K everywhere except within maschine as a plugin within a DAW. Even looks fine in maschine standalone on a 4K screen.
Heres the proof. kontakt 8 standalone, and kontakt 8 running in maschine 3 standalone. both on the same 4K screen
right, it sounded like you were though. Well I'm not going to switch to working in HD for my DAW. Guess I'll just fix everything up in maschine standalone, and then reload into the plugin in the daw. Thanks.
That is all you can do for now.
I don't even use windows but I just tried and it works if you disable "Auto-Scale Plugin Window". You have to remove and re-add MAS-plug or restart Ableton to make it work.
Tested with 4k at 150% and 175% scaling, latest version of MAS3 VST3, Ableton 12 and K8 Player.

If anything bugs out, then change the windows scaling temporarily, while testing I found it can force the hosted Kontakt instance inside MAS to readjust itself.
Let me know if it fixes the issue.
