in my DAW( Mixcraft). When I move the app. to second monitor the dials , buttons don't respond correctly. they seem to default to min state of what ever setting I try to adj. the app seems to work properly when in stand alone mode.
Reaper when I direct it to the file path where I believe GR7 is located, I say believe because when I locate the app. I can see no VST3 file. only the App. and another folder with some .dll files. But I have been told the .dll files are not the ones I want I should be looking for aVST3 right?
GR7 is VST3 , VST3 on 64 Bit Windows is (and must be) located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

all issues resolved. Display issue was scaling difference between the two monitors. Thanks for all the advice and responses.
Hey there, what are your graphic card, monitor models, display settings? If you open GTR 7 in standalone and move the GUI from one screen to another, do you experience the same issue?
graphics is Radeon RX570 series, monitors are Samsung S24B350. No issue is only when viewing in my DAW. My GR 5 Works just fine in My DAW.
GR5 works fine. Seems like I remember it working fine while back…maybe not

Jeremy_NI, no it doesn't occur in stand alone.
Ok so have you contacted Mixcraft about it? Have you tried in another DAW? Does it behave the same?
Would it be possible for you to do a small video of the issue, this way we can show it around to devs and file a bug if necessary.
Would probably help with at least a couple of screenshots from your monitor screens from before that you move and on monitor after that you have moved (in case anyone that both has Mixcraft and two screens wants to try to replicate the issue)
I suppose that you are also using the latest version of Mixcraft as you should be doing ? (Mixcraft 10.6 build 636)

Craft only As I'm having problems with getting GR7 to load in my other DAW (Reaper) I have posted the problem there but as of now no replies. I also have GR5 In

When I choose its location hit OK then re-scan it removes the previously located GR5 .dll from the FX list, but does not load GR7! The issue I'm having regarding this post is; in MixCraft when I select GR7 in my FX list for a track it opens in my primary monitor and works fine, but when I slide it to my second monitor soon as I attempt to adj. any parameter of any amps/fx ect. the knob or dial or slider moves to its minim state and wont adj. anymore after this. I can post screen shots but I don't think they would accurately depict the issue. I should mention here I recently moved so haven't been in the studio using this DAW for quite awhile, but don't remember this being an issue in the past.
Oh forgot My MixCraft is up to Date. I have not contacted Support at MixCraft as I don't believe it is a MC issue. Cant say for sure until I get Reaper loading GR7.
