Connecting KKS49 to new library

How do I link an nki library to my Komplete Kontrol S49 browse function. I downloaded a Wavesfactory mellotron library on to my hard drive in a dedicated folder. When I click on the nki file and then search for mellotron in Kontakt the instruments appear and if I scroll through I get a brief sample sound. However the keyboard does not activate and I cannot Browse from the keyboard. I tried going to Native Access and adding but WF did not give me a serial number.

Any ideas?

Two problems :

: You do not specify which generation/version your KK S49 is. Only Mk3 can communicate directly with Kontakt 7+ , Mk2 can not communicate directly with Kontakt only with Komplete Kontrol software.
: You post says "Kontact 6-8-0" . The S-Series Mk3 need Kontakt 7 or higher to connect directly with Kontakt. If you only have Kontakt 6 then you will need to use the Komplete Kontrol 3.x.x app.

And of course the keyboard must be properly installed for anything to work.

And - any library using an "*.nki" cannot be used with any S-Series hardware.

The library must be registered via Native Access. And usually loaded via Komplete Kontrol.

OR - direct connection with a MKIII board and Kontakt 7/8
