Can Maschine Plus support the connection of my equipment?

I have a specific dawless setup in mind I'd like to have with the Maschine Plus which will inform if I buy one.

I want to connect a Drumbrute Impact as a MIDI controller/sequencer for the drum sounds on the Maschine and record these. I know it can do this.

I want to connect an Arturia Microfreak so that the Maschine accepts and records sounds from it. I know it can do this.

I want to modulate sounds of the Microfreak and the Maschine using an Eventide H90. This is where I'm stuck.

I know the Eventide H90 could modulate the sound from the Maschine by going out to the pedal and back in. I know it could also modulate the sound of the Microfreak before it goes into the Maschine. But I can't quite understand how to set them all up so they work together.

It seems that I would have used up both the outputs and the inputs of the Maschine to go the Eventide H90 leaving me no inputs/outputs for the Microfreak.

Essnetially, I want to be able to play and record all these devices in a dawless setup with at least the Microfreak and the Maschine being modulated by the Eventide H90.

Sorry for such a long question but can't quite find this information online.

Any help/advice appreciated.

Hum… 'Modulated' is a bit of an odd term here, external Audio FX processing is what you're after, right?

It sounds to me that you would just need to buy a compatible (class-complaint) interface with more than 2 inputs and use it in the M+… Or actually, a Mixer that also acts as an interface might be a better choice so you have the freedom to apply the external FX to anything connected, the Micro Freak or the Drumbrute…

I think you'd need to have a Mixer/Interface with FX Send/Return options, if you want to then record the audio with baked in FX into the M+ has to be a consideration aswell, I'm not the best person to advise on that tho… Surely some other DAWless folks will chime in.

I would like to comment on the first case.
Everything that passes through M+ MIDI ports (doesnt matter DIN or USB) suffer from poor timing and increased jitter. Even single drum track which is dense enough could potentially be affected. More dense it is and more groups are present in M+ project - more negative effects are pronounced. For example you can have 16 groups which are all absolutely empty (no instruments, effects and patterns/clips to play) and even this will introduce amount of MIDI jitter you will not believe is possible in $1400 device until you hear it with you own ears. Of course its possible to quantize after recording, but any precise timing information (such as swing etc) from external sequencer will be lost.

But for triggering 4 drum sounds alone M+ is fine enough.
