Hi, Got a new pc and want my products moved there, but no matter what NI folder I pick I always get "Path not Valid". I don't know if I have o create a folder or what?
First, you can't move anything there until you at least have Native Access up and running on that computer. Has that been done yet and is that what is giving you the error or is it coming from somewhere else? In short, how exactly are you trying to move your libraries over to the new computer?
I just installed Native Access and Kontact 8's latest. I am new to this, less than a year and self taught so huge gaps in my know how here.I own Argent and the Bass one I forget what it's called. Thing is Electric Storm installed no fuss no muss. So I am lost as to why I can not get Argent installed.
no matter what NI folder I pick I always get "Path not Valid".
Be sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest version of Native Access for your OS (version 3.20.1) and be sure to be logged into the correct account.
Also please tell us exactly what you are referring to and where you bought (ref. e.g. : I own Argent, Bass one, Electric Storm)
Then please tell us what you are trying to do when getting this error and then give us a screenshot of the error.
.
When trying to locate a single product via its "Add Product Content" option, you will need to choose the folder of said product.
When using the "Add Product Content" option found under "Support", you will need to choose the parent folder where you have put all your products in (e.g. if your Content Location is set to "D:\NI Content", choose "NI Content").
Sadly, not every product can be located that way (yet). I once posted about it here.
Electric Storm is a Native Instruments plugin. Argent, I believe, is an Impact Soundworks plugin and they have their own installer called 'Pulse' which you can download from their site. Many 3rd party vendors use their own programs rather than Native Access because they have a different installation, billing and licensing process.
