I have already bought the Ozone advanced as part of the Music production suite but I find it very hard to use it as the starting point that the Ai does sounds loud, ear piercing, not musical, a total mess. My mixes sound a lot better before I use the ozone. I can recall a Mastering export that I did a couple days back and when I put it in my car stereo I wanted to shut it down after a couple of seconds. The other thing I noticed is that the Ai staring point is exactly the same in every song I will throw in and feels like the Ai tool does not do any processing, it just throws a signal chain and work it from there.
I'm not a professional user and I don't have a Mastering experience, I mostly record at home, but these tools supposed to be easy to use for all types of users from a random/bedroom guy to a Mastering Engineer. The final result is very overhyped, plasticky, missing warmth, musicality. The simple Mastering Assistant in Logic Pro does far better Ai processing as a staring point than the Ozone does.
Yes it can fix a a very bad Mix, but it can ruin a very good mix
I feel that this is the worst purchase I ever did in terms of plug ins.
