Hi there guys,
I'm having an issue where my S2's right jogwheel is "stuck" in pitch bend mode. I can't push it to stop playback, nor scratch. Just for nudging. The left one, on the other hand, works perfectly. It has worked before, I haven't used the controller in a few months and now that's the situation I'm in.
Furthermore, I can't start any kind of jogwheel calibration (hoping it would be beneficial to the issue above). No matter if using Traktor Pro 3 or 4, when I press the Recalibrate button in the settings I get a popup asking to press the corrisponding Load button on the controller for 2 seconds to start the calibration. This does asbolutely nothing, for both the jogwheels.
Controller Editor (or MidiView) shows no signal pushing the right jogwheel, but it does with the left one.
I contacted support, and the only solutions seems to be to send it back for diagnosis and repair. The controller is over 9 years old (april 2016), no way I'm paying for repair and shipping back and forth, would not really be worth it unfortunately.
I tried changing USB cable and PC, using Traktor Pro 3 and 4, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers.
Before claiming it a hardware fault, it there anything else I can try?
I have none at hand, but I could eventually buy a small multimeter to take readings from the chip under the plate, if it makes any sense.
Thanks for your help!
