Kontakt 8 gone missing on Mac Sequoia

Just launched Logic Pro to find that Kontakt 8 is completely missing. I assume that this is something to do with the recent update.

So I reinstalled, restarted the Mac and still nothing. This, along with the missing/uninstallable libraries issue is really getting too much.

Any suggestions?

Sometimes the solution to such an issue is to remove the plugin from the DAW scan path and then do a total re-scan then put the plugin back and then do another total re-scan.

Other times the issue is that the plugin is in the wrong place compared to where the DAW/(OS ?) wants it.

Had same issue on laptop with a different daw so may be no help, however sounds same issue as mine.

UPDATE: Just looked at the plug-in manager in Logic Pro and Kontakt 8 is listed as 'Not compatible'.

I think this latest update is a bit of a mess. I've noticed, for example, that loading times are once again as slow as they were in the first iteration of Kontakt 8. We're talking 10-15 minutes to load Session Strings 2 for example.

Works fine here (latest Sequoia and Logic, M4 Max).

Logic is sometimes a bit temperamental when scanning plugins (or too touchy). Select Kontakt 8 in Plugin Manager and „re-scan selected”. Hopefully, it will allow it then.
