It's been a long time since Native Instruments added GUI zoom to Kontakt 7. Has it been two years? Possibly. I know it's not something recent.
So how is it possible that they can't dedicate a few hours, or at most days, to copy the code that Kontakt 7 has, that adds the GUI zoom feature, and put it where it belongs in the Komplete Kontrol code?
I have never seen a more lazy company in my life. Two programs that share a lot of code, including the GUI code, because they look very similar. But if I want to use Komplete Kontrol, to properly use the keyboard I paid $1,200 for, I have to welcome a headache later from straining my eye trying to read blurry tiny text. It wouldn't bother me that much if it was larger blurry text, because that's the case when I use Kontakt 7. It's not like they made it completely HiDPI compliant, only some things. But I'm ok with it. As long as it's easy to read, even if it's a little blurry, I don't complain.
But when I'm told that the GUI zoom is coming to Komplete Kontrol, and two years later, I have to activate the Windows zoom to use it, that I find very upsetting. It's not acceptable this day and age to have a GUI so small without the change to make it larger. This is the main reason why I don't buy anything from Native Instruments anymore. I'm not even going to bother with Komplete 15.
If I want to use the keyboard I paid $1,200 for, the way it was sold to me via Native Instruments' advertising, meaning, showing the instrument and options in the two LCD screens on it, I have to use Komplete Kontrol and get headaches, or use the keyboard and have this on those two screens:
And since I don't like headaches or migraines, that this what I see all the time when I use my very expensive keyboard.
Is it ever going to happen? Or are we going to have to suffer this tiny text GUI forever? What can be so hard about copying and pasting code from one program to another and testing it for a while. Hell, I'll test it for you!
Or, just add to Kontakt 7 the ability to load the instrument on the two screens like KK does.
