Anyone been crazy enough to test MacOS 26 Tahoe with NI Komplete Soft- and Hardware?

Hello community,

was anyone yet crazy enough to test out the compatibility of the NI Komplete 15 Software and the newer Hardware like Komplete Kontrol MK3 on the new MacOS 26 (Tahoe)?

Any hint would be appreciated… Just would want to know, if it's a complete mess, or if there are just minor bugs… 😀

I have not tested Maschine mk3 but will do later and post if there is an issue I see. Mind you there may be issues I don't see, but having just bought a new MBP, which did not come with '26, I updated my old 'Air' with the view to having a look followed by wiping SSD to offer it for sale locally. Pleased to announce I found no issues. Native Access seems to work fine and just loaded a few instances of Kontakt in Live 12 and no issues I could see. Early next week I will be at my partner's place with good internet ( I use phone only) to update all my software to external SSD. All going well then I will install '26 on new machine before travelling for a couple of months. Main other Plug-ins I use are IK Multimedia. Have a lot of downloading to do before I even bother testing them in '26 though.

Will update there too if anyone is interested.

I have just tried Maschine Mk3 and can find no problem with it. Given that I am in no way an expert, but a casual user, take that with a grain of salt but atm I feel quite confident about installing on my new MBP. I'm in no rush but I'm travelling in a couple of weeks and unless I hear advice to the contrary I will do so before I leave. I am in the fortunate position of having 2 Macs atm so can experiment with one. Given my lack of issues though, I would appreciate someone with maybe more knowledge and ability trying it out and reporting findings. For me though it gets an all clear.

This is on my “Things to try when I’m back off vacation and I’ve got a couple of Time Machine backups safely stored away” list. Good to hear it’s sounding promising though.

In my case, the update couldn’t have gone better: not only does everything seem to work fine so far, Tahoe apparently fixed the bug causing kernel panics on some M4 machines when using Reaktor and possibly other NI software. These crashes are gone now, almost two weeks in, and I’m very happy.

I’ve focused mostly on Reaktor, Massive X and those mod/crush pack FX plugins, though, as well as on other stuff I frequently use, so ymmv. But in my experience Tahoe has been brilliant so far 😃
