Hello everyone,
during a set, the music randomly stops, even though the track appears to be playing and the channel faders are active. But the master output shows no signal, and there's no sound.
Restarting both the controller and software brings the sound back, but the issue returns unpredictably.
What’s weird is that the day before, I had mapped the MK3 to VirtualDJ and installed two mapping files to test it out, mainly because I’ll need to mix video at some point, and Traktor doesn’t support video playback. I’m wondering if that setup somehow messed with the audio routing or caused a conflict.
Right now I’m doing a full factory reset of my Mac and reinstalling Traktor 4 to see if that helps. But honestly, it was a terrible experience having the music cut out while people were dancing.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Could the VirtualDJ mapping have affected the S4’s behavior even after switching back to Traktor?
