I was in touch with one of the NI resellers in US today and Traktor S4 MK3 is discontinued on their web page. I asked them the reason for this and they replied back to me saying: NI doesnt manufacture S4 MK3 anymore thats why they stoped selling it online.
I dont want to spoil the show but NI should inform the community about it asap.
Could well be true. Reddit certainly has reports of S4Mk3 becoming unavailable in some countries. I'm currently going backwards and returning to my S8. I may even take it out to a gig this coming weekend as I have to be honest, with Stems, it's a pretty cool controller now.

The S4 MK3 is in stock on loads of websites in Europe.
Well being in stock doesnt mean NI will continue manufacturing new S4 MK3's. There are also some resellers making %25 off the retail price as a campaign to finish their stocks. I wish NI should clearify this situation soon. Maybe S4 MK4 is on the way with WIFI connectivity and etc such as other brands top model controllers…
Interesting. Sweetwater in the USA has 0 stock of the S4mk3, so does Guitar Center.
I think i mentioned this on reddit as well: Quite a few european postal services have suspended transport of parcels to the US until the confusion of trolling-class tariffs has stabilized to some level of clarity. In addition, N.I. usually removes a title from it's catalogue if their stock (for customers and resellers) is empty.
Wifi only makes sense on standalone devices, which is doubtful to happen.
Why not NI go for a hybrid device which can work standalone and pc connected?

Regarding the future of TRAKTOR Pro, it looks like we'll only see a minor update with fixes this year. After that, there will likely be a waiting period until more significant updates are announced.

What kind of problems do you experience with Traktor 4 ? Mine is pretty stable so far to be honest
It takes at lot of work to get a standalone device up and running. They would either need to write something similar to Traktor from scratch, or make Traktor work with a whole new UI that works on a small unit with no mouse and keyboard.
And it would also need changed to desktop traktor to sync the collection to USB.
Possibly, but not probable. The Traktor team is so small they can't even fix small bugs.
