macOS 26 has just been released.
Who’s going to be the first to try it 😀
Well, as always when there is a new MacOS release, we wouldn't recommend doing so just yet: macOS 26 Tahoe Compatibility Statement
Oh, come one. Latest update of NA2 was failing even with Sequoia… Please fix this as soon as possible. New library updates within NA2 are piling up. And of course, they are failing and giving same error of "Full disk access" request
This has nothing to do with the Native Access issue you are mentioning, issue that is being worked on and that we've explained already.
It's not the only thing needed to bring official compatibility for MacOS 26. We need to test all products and all functionalities of said products.
Please stop posting everywhere and all the time on the issue, the issue is identified, we publicly posted everything about it. It will take time for a definitive resolution. I hear that you are frustrated because the workaround does not work for you. Posting again and again will not help your case. Please continue the troubleshooting with my colleagues so we can find a way to make it work for you. You haven't replied to them since last Thursday.
Dear Jeremy, I need to be very clear here: the tone in your last response is inappropriate and unprofessional. Customers deserve respect, even when issues take time to resolve. Dismissing concerns, shifting blame, or pointing out how often I have or haven’t replied does not contribute to solving the problem. I have already explained that I tried the suggested steps, including uninstalling MacCleaner Pro, and they did not resolve the issue. Repeating the same requests while framing this as a customer’s fault is not acceptable. I’ve invested in NI products to create music — not to be spoken to in a way that feels like I’m being scolded for reporting a bug. As for your request that I stop posting about the issue: I will post as much as I want, whenever I want, and wherever I want. As a paying customer, I am entitled to share my experience and to ask for updates until this problem is resolved. What matters most is that the problem persists — I still cannot install the Claire library after purchase and update othee piling-up products. What I expect from NI is constructive support, transparent communication, and clear next steps toward a solution, not blame or dismissiveness. None of the said steps work so far.
I've replied in the other thread where you were already participating. Again this has nothing to do with MacOS 26. Please stay on topic.
For the record. MacOS 26.2: Steinberg Absolute installs OK. Arturia collection installs OK. Output Plugins install OK. Korg Plugins install OK. NI: 53 instruments/libraries/effects has installation failures.
This is nothing do with file permissions. If you download an ISO (e.g Battery 4 factory Library) and install it manually, you get the real reason which is the application security in MacOS 26.x which fails to install the pkg.
Native Instruments are always behind the curve on this type of stuff and need to pay attention to customers. How come the competition get compatibility right more often than NI? Some of the NI libraries don't have updates since 2019 - this is neglect more than a proactive approach. Customer satisfaction should be at the centre of any business strategy. NI need to shift on this and solve the customer issues as a priority instead of pushing back on support pages, when clearly NI have some work to do….. NI: Listen to your customers…
That does not seem consistent with reports that most if not all recent stuff from NI installs fine on Tahoe despite it not being officially cleared yet
Perhaps this is not a Tahoe issue per se but Tahoe plus something else on certain systems that needs to be identified? I would certainly be considering things like disk access and local network access for processes like Native Access and ntkdaemon as possible suspects.
Full disk access is granted to both Native Access and NTKDaemon.
If you use pgkutil on the command line with the pkg directly:
Error: “installer: The install failed. (The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install. The Installer could not install the software.)”
The happens for Battery Library, Flesh, Reaktor blocks library, Kontakt library etc etc.
Error installing Flesh from Native Access below:
[2025-11-06 02:45:26.039] [native-installer] [info] "0x70000d0fd000":PkgInstaller.cpp:458 installing Flesh silently [2025-11-06 02:45:27.213] [native-installer] [error] "0x70000c84a000":PkgInstaller.cpp:495 installation error for Flesh: installer: The install failed [2025-11-06 02:45:27.492] [daemon] [error] "0x70000d0fd000":InstallerThread.cpp:196 An unknown error occurred: [2025-11-06 02:45:27.492] [daemon] [info] "0x70000cf74000":EventPublisher.cpp:292 PUBLISH: EVENT: InstallationFailed (DeploymentID: 4626e2ab-cb59-4599-a68f-25dfa193d783, Upid: 6486b4d0-08ba-48e0-83d9-0bc9e4dc443d, Error: ERROR_CODE_GENERIC_INSTALLER_ERROR)
So here is a temporary solution. I hope this helps others that are stuck for now.
Using Battery_4_Factory_Library.iso as an example. ( Im guessing this will work for other libraries also)
Command + Shift + .
sudo installer -pkg Battery\ 4\ Factory\ Library\ Library\ Part\ 1.pkg -target /Users/Shared/ -verbose -allowUntrusted
sudo installer -pkg Battery\ 4\ Factory\ Library\ Library\ Part\ 2.pkg -target /Users/Shared/ -verbose -allowUntrusted
sudo installer -pkg Battery\ 4\ Factory\ Library\ Library\ Part\ 3.pkg -target /Users/Shared/ -verbose -allowUntrusted
Update: The above worked well for all of the troublesome packages (50+). I had to re-download one as it was corrupted. Also note that a small amount of packages from the download are out of date but Native Access updates them fine even though it would not originally install them. Anyway - this has resolved my issues with Tahoe even thought it took hours of manual intervention.
Don't evade responsibility, reality tells you that after updating to the latest native Acess2, neither macOS 15 nor macOS 26 can be installed.
I verified siamsiam's install instructions also worked for me on Tahoe 26.1. Finally get to check Battery 4 out and all is well so far. Thank you!
The issue lies on the installers used, not Native Access in itself, please read the post we made here:
We are working on migrating all these products with new installers, product by product, so no one's evading responsibility here.
Or if you mean another issue, then in this case please make a dedicated post with all the specifics and/or contact our support.
BIG thank you for this!
Just moved to Mac and updated Komplete to 15, what a nightmare this was. I managed to lock myself out of the system within a few days and had to wait a week or so before I could even use it. Insanity coming from Windows; lesson learned. 😅 Haven't dabbled consistently since Komplete 12 but figured it was time to pay the update tax across the board. Everything was fine except anything Reaktor related, the Battery libraries, the Yangqin instrument for Kontakt and Traktors 12.
Much appreciated. 😎
Yes there are a few issues with MacOS Taho/26 and some of our installers, please get in touch with our support so they can provide workarounds for the products you mentioned: https://bit.ly/NI_Support_All
We'll also make a dedicated post as soon as possible here to
