Locating libraries on a new computer with drives from the old one

Hi folks. I've just done a clean install of Sequoia on my macPro. I have a clone of the previous version of the drive, and I'm hoping to restore everything in Kontakt to what it was before I wiped my system drive.

All of my instrument files are installed across several sample drives, and so I would think that I'd be looking to do a Locate in Native Access, however when I load up NA, all the libraries are showing either Add Product or Install. I've got a ton of libraries, so I'm hoping to reconnect without having to download all the content, since it's in the multi-terrabyte range.

Secondly, I'd also spent a significant amount of time in the Libraries tab sorting the libraries into a logical order. Is it possible to restore preferences or some such file off my cloned drive to put them all where they should be?

I do the same as you in the Windows world - have all my "content" on a separate drive.

If/when I am ready to build a new custom DAW - I make note of the Content directory within Native Access (under Prefs→File Management) and ensure whatever path is there - is the exact same path I enter into a NEW install of Native Access - when first placing it on the new machine.

I build the new machine, install all the drives - with IDENTICAL drive letters as the old DAW (along with all the existng content of course) and then install Native Access.

Before I look at any products or do anything in NA - I immediately update the content path and exit NA. Open it back up and all prior products (because they are now re-linked to the old content path) all show a Locate button - instead of Add Product or Install.

Now - I do want to clarify that last statement as it has been a minute since I last did a full rebuild - so here in Sept 2025 that "Add Product" button in NA - might actually be hiding a Relocate function or area when you click on it - I think another (newer) dialog might appear.

Again - can't test this without doing a full new install.

The key item here is making sure your Content path is identical to what it was on your old machine - including all content as it was on the old machine.
