Hi everyone. I have a .tsi file to import into Traktor for a custom mapping of my Kontrol F1. However, I'd like to make a backup first so I can revert to it if I run into any problems. Could you tell me the steps? Thanks in advance.
If you have been using the default (factory) mapping for the F1, there is no need to save or delete the file. Just deactivate it (select NONE for IN/OUT) or use SHIFT+BROWSE to flip between custom mapping and factory mapping. In that case you have to specify on the F1 panel if you want to flip from factory to user or from factory to genericMIDI.
There is no danger loosing the original mapping. You can always reload it from the internal library (and it autoloads after Traktor start /F1 reconnect if you don't have a mapping for the F1 in your list).
