Getting Back into it: Guitar Rig 2 and beyond...

After taking a long hiatus from VSTs for recording I am back into it for live use (through Gig Performer). I have a lot of registered NI products from up to about 10 years ago or so. (I also have recently purchased Kontakt 6, Session Horns, and Komplete Select.)

I have a registration for "Guitar Rig 2" and "Guitar Rig 2 Update", which is not installed on laptop. (I do not know if I have the software anywhere on my functioning computers).

When I go to my downloads file and search "rig" I see a lot of Guitar Rig downloads/updates.

(Without additional charge) can I download Guitar Rig 2 (or later) and start using it again?

What updates can I get?

Thx.

Jeff

Hey Jeff, Guitar Rig 2 is actually among our legacy products which cannot be activated with Native Access anymore. Feel free to read more about our legacy products end of life here: https://bit.ly/3AUUMyN 👈

    Thanks (but bummer).

I am also looking into Chris Hein Guitars. They are listed as registered, but I don't see them on either list that you linked to. Should I just be able to install that one via Native Access?

Afaik Chris Hein Guitars are not installed via Native Access but have their own installer.

    Thanks.

It looks like I backed up all the .rar files for my Chris Heins Electric (and jazz) on a DVD. Hopefully it will unpack fine and will work.
