Computer keyboard question.

Good day , ladies and gentlemens , iam use Kontakt 8 , Windows 10 .

On my computer keyboard iam use :

Zxcvbnm - key for first octave.

Shift+Zxcvbnm - key for third octave.

Qwertyu - key for second octave.

Shift+Qwertyu - key for fours octave.

First Half 5 octave - iop + shift .

Where 6,7,second half 5 octaves ???

It is possible that you might have to use some kind of 'multiscript' on a full version of Kontakt to gain further octave changes in Kontakt built-in PC Midi keyboard .

Other than the obvious advice that you should get a cheap Midi controller keyboard (e.g. N.I. A series or M32) and then use that , then my personal advice to you is that you should use a dedicated virtual Midi keyboard program and then route that to Kontakt.

You can e.g. use "FreePiano" together with LoopMidi to get input into Kontakt. Follow instructions here for information about how to setup use of FreePiano with LoopMidi only substitute Massive with Kontakt and setup Kontakt Midi instead of Massive Midi..

The keyboard layout of FreePiano may not necessarily fit your keyboard and for that reason it could require you to edit and save a new keyboard map file. Also , then for some reason then the Sustain in FreePiano can set itself to 127 , so if that happens then either right click the sustain field or set it to zero or whatever. Further more then please notice the "if you want background input to work then turn on background input for the PC keyboard to work also when FreePiano is not in foreground." (shown at page with setup description referred to above here)

There is also a virtual keyboard called "Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard" , it is possible that that is even better but since I have never used this then you are on your own with respect to that.
