Hello everyone,
I've just dusted off my old Traktor S4 MK1 controller and upgraded my mid-2010 MacBook Pro (i5 processor) with a new 256GB SSD for the operating system and a 2TB Samsung Evo SSD for my music.
I installed Traktor Pro 3.5.3 and set up the program to my liking. I created my favorite playlist folders and ran a full analysis on all my music. I have a lot of Latin (Salsa) LPs, about 105,000 songs in total. After the analysis finished, which took almost an entire day, I closed the program.
When I reopened it, my Track Collection was completely empty. My playlist folders were still there, but they had a red 'X' on them and were also empty. All my Traktor settings seem to be intact, but I've lost my entire collection and playlists.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program and repeated the whole process several times, but I keep getting the same result. I desperately need your help to fix this.
P.S. I've noticed that sometimes it creates a file called backup_invalid.nml.
Please help me, I'm at my wit's end. Is there a solution to this?
