Can anyone help me map a button in Traktor Pro 4 for Traktor kontrol S4 MK3, to "re"-activate the loop, so that the next loop is active when this song loop arrives, without having to go with the mouse on the pc?
A short manual how to change the factory mapping of your S4 Mk3 is found in NI support articles:
The function you need to map is Deck Common → Loop → Loop Active On. Make sure to set Interaction mode to toggle and not hold.
MOVE ENCODER (Toggle).
It's already mapped.

You may be interested in the Re-Loop feature i put in the Community Mod for the S4MK3. With SHIFT+LOOP ENCODER (Toggle), you can trigger a jump to the last floating cue (using the CUP function) and, if it is a LoopIN point, reactivate that loop. Check it out (link at the top of the Traktor sub-forum page.
You can also map this function youself using the controller manager. In that case i would recommend to use the modifier-skeleton mapping for the S4 (same post) as a template (and remove the orignal mapping), as it provides the SHIFT and DECKSWITCH structure needed to differentiate the 4 different states on each side. Then you can add the two assignments for each deck using the modfier conditions i describe in the post.
