Hi,
After updating to Hardware Connection Service 2.0.5 and Komplete Kontrol 3.5.0 on Windows 11 (Intel i5-14600K), my Komplete Kontrol S88 MK3 is recognized correctly in Device Manager and by the system.
However, whenever I launch Cubase 13.0.20, I immediately get this error inside the MIDI Remote Script Control panel:
TypeError: cannot read property 'getBaseObjectId' of undefined (line 751)
What I’ve tried so far:
-Power-cycled the keyboard and swapped USB ports
-Stopped and restarted NIHardwareService and NIHostingIntegrationAgent in services.msc
-Cleared AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Komplete Kontrol and NIHardware caches
-Reinstalled Hardware Connection Service 2.0.5 manually
-Confirmed the S88 MK3 firmware is on the latest version (no update available)
Current status:
-Device Manager: S88 MK3 appears under Sound, video and game controllers with no warning icon
-services.msc: NIHardwareService and NIHostingIntegrationAgent show as running
-Standalone Komplete Kontrol: works fine, no error
-Cubase: error appears immediately on startup in MIDI Remote Script Control, before loading any project
Question:
Is this a known issue with HCS 2.0.5 + KK 3.5.0 and Cubase MIDI Remote integration?
Any workaround or fix would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
