Newcomer has questions

Hi everyone,

I consider myself a musician first and a tech enthusiast second. I’ve been really interested in how tools like iZotope and Native Instruments can continue to evolve, and I have some ideas I’d like to share — for example, concepts around an “AI sound engineer assistant” that could help musicians bring rough recordings to a polished mix more easily.

What I’m unclear on is the right way to get these ideas in front of the product teams. The site assistant directed me here to the forums, but I’m wondering:

Is there a dedicated channel for submitting feature requests?
Do community suggestions here get reviewed by staff, or is there another path?

I’d really appreciate any guidance from fellow users (and staff, if you’re reading).

Hi! We open dedicated spaces for feature voting from time to time. At the moment, there isn’t one active, but keep an eye on the forum (or join us on Discord). Whenever we host a special event with the product team, that’s the perfect chance to share your feedback. 😉

This type of tech is already available in several iZotope plugins - and has been for a while now.

Not unless someone asks for input on a specific product or product type in which case they will create a thread which usually then is open for input only for a while.

Do community suggestions here get reviewed by staff, or is there another path?

If you tag your suggestions Feature Request then suggestions gets monitored , at least in theory. However nobody knows what is actually read or taken notice of.

Writing your suggestions down on paper, then throwing them in the bin will likely get you just as much traction as any official thread on the forum from past experience.
