Title: Native Access Login Issue on New PC – Ongoing Problem
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others and brings visibility to this ongoing issue.
I recently set up a new PC and installed Native Access 2 to access my purchased instruments. While I can log in online through the browser, the Native Access desktop app repeatedly shows “Unable to login”, even after:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling Native Access 2
- Deleting all related folders
- Restarting my computer
- Disabling VPN/proxy and antivirus temporarily
From what I’ve seen on the forums, many users have been experiencing this problem since 2024, and NI has acknowledged a backend authentication issue affecting older versions and some desktop logins.
It seems that
- The latest version of Native Access 2 works for most users
- Older versions of Native Access 2 and Maschine+ may still encounter login failures
- The problem is not specific to your PC; it is a server/backend issue
I hope posting this helps consolidate awareness of this issue. I encourage anyone affected to update to the latest Native Access 2 and contact NI support for further assistance.
I have an open support case that I started yesterday and I need NI staff to prioritize it, ASAP because it’s work related.
