Booth monitor plays all channels at startup even with channel faders at zero.

So I just got an S4 Mk3. When Traktor Pro 4 is first started on my MacBook, the moment I hit play on any deck, I can hear music coming out of the booth monitors even though all the channel faders are down at zero. The moment I slide any fader up for signal and go back down to zero, the booth monitor behavior goes back to expected behavior - where the only music playing out of them are active channels with faders up. Is this expected behavior? If not, is there something I can do to fix this?

Default is open channels on startup. You have to move all hardware channel faders a bit to align them to the software, in particular if the controls have any zero zones. The line faders may have a zero zone at the bottom.

Make the mixer section of GUI visible and the decks large so you can see the software fader positions and compare them to the hardware positions.

Also uncheck the option to reset mixer controls on loading in Preferences→Loading.
