Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I couldn’t see it. It may of course be unique to my installation.
After installing new updates (2.05) I had an issue whereby use of the transport controls and Mixer would crash Logic resulting in the spinning beach ball of existential regret. Also none of the new features appeared.
I deleted my Logic and control preference files and allowed Logic to restart and build new preference file including new control surface files and now everything works perfectly.
- Quit Logic.
- Navigate to:
~/Library/Preferences/ - Move com.apple.logic10.plist to the desktop.
- Move com.apple.logic.pro.cs
- Relaunch Logic (it will create a new default preferences file).
I saw someone on a Facebook Group with the same problem and this fixed it too so I thought I’d share. Please feel free to make be/delete if this is covered elsewhere.
