Why is my S61 Mk 2 having these issues?

Hey folks, over the last few months my S61 Mk2 keyboard has been slowly acting up, not communicating with Logic in various ways and now when I turn it on the screens rotate through random instruments and mixing pages, the keyboard lights pulse with different colours, the buttons pulse along with them. Any ideas? (I tried to attach a .Mov movie file but it seems I cannot.)

2- USB Connection Issues: A faulty USB connection is a frequent cause of communication problems.

Try a different USB cable. Cables can degrade over time.
Connect the keyboard directly to your computer, bypassing any USB hubs. Some hubs can cause power or data issues.
Try a different USB port on your computer.

3- Re-installing the Software:

Outdated or corrupted software can lead to communication failures.
Ensure that the Komplete Kontrol software and your keyboard's firmware are up to date via the Native Access application.
Try a full re-installation of the Komplete Kontrol software. This can often resolve corrupted files that prevent the keyboard from being properly recognized by your computer and DAW.

4- Check Your DAW's Setup (Logic Pro): Your DAW's settings might be the problem.

In Logic Pro, check the Control Surfaces setup to make sure the S61 is properly configured. You might need to manually remove and re-add the keyboard.

5- Internal Hardware Fault: If the above steps don't work, there might be a physical problem with the keyboard itself.

Thanks Sunborn. I fixed it. It was a combination of a bad power supply chain to the working parts of the studio ( I was getting my SSDs ejected randomly) and I needed a fresh install of Logic. Suddenly I am up and stable and happy. Thanks for the detailed answer.
