NI would you PLEASE create a real, legit uninstall app/functionality

In the name of mercy NI, create some real uninstall programs/functionality already. Please. To uninstall something by deleting it is so low-tech and oh btw as often as not doesn't work, at least in my experience. I recently deleted two things (Kontakt 7 and something called Little Amber) and they still show up in Native Access. And yes I used the NI uninstall reg tool (an extra step I shouldn't have to take), rebooted Native Access, etc.

Yes it's a common feature request. It is now possible to uninstall libraries but not yet with applications. It's not as simple as it looks.

Do you mean that once uninstalled, the Kontakt 7 and Little Amber still show a repair sign in Native Access?

Then you would only need to delete this file:

C: > Users > Public > Documents > Native Instruments > installed_products > Kontakt 7.json

C: > Users > Public > Documents > Native Instruments > installed_products > Little Amber.json

Uninstalling a product will never remove it from view in Native Access.

Once a product is removed - Native Access will simply change that big button on the right (beside the product listed) from Open to Install.

Native Access is simply a mirror of your product listing online in your NI account and it always reflects every product you hold a license for.

If you want the product to truly disappear from Native Access - you will need NI Sales support to permanently delete that product (and its license) from your master listing.

For Windows, I use Revo Uninstaller. It allows me to see and physically remove any folders or registry items that I otherwise would have never known about. Revo Uninstaller requires that I use the program or app's OWN uninstaller.

Why anyone (especially NI) would bother wasting time building uninstall routines IN Native Access continues to baffle me.

For us Windows guys - all NI installers (launched via NA) use the standard OS based Windows Installer Service to actually do all the work anyway and Revo monitors this service - in real time - logs every change made, saves it and then during uninstall - uses the log as a roadmap - resulting in super clean perfect uninstalls every time.

I use it every time I install anything because I know if I need to remove any software - this app makes sure it never existed at all - from standard files on the disk to super obscure config files and or course the registry.
