Problem Updating FIRMWARE

Right now my device is working but midi in keeps vanishing, as in no volume/prg change etc. I need to update the firmware to latest 0.1.9?

System Version: 1.6.1.24

Maschine Version: 2.18.5 (RO)

Firmware 0.1.6

I'm very experienced hardware wise, so I put Maschine+ in Controller mode, tried both methods of using power or usb power, tried the M3PUpdater.exe, the app runs fine but does nothing. I used the system/shift scan button, it says updating but just goes back to no updates available?

I have noticed Mashine+ BD and DFU come and go, but no drivers install.

Any suggestions?

Just a headsup, 1 problem spotted:

Trying to format Maschine+ sdcard, (kept origional) in win10, the '+' after Maschine is an invalid character with regards to naming the volume label

Still no luck.. As far as I can tell, the driver package offered by NI for the Maschine + does'nt install either the BD or DFU drivers, leading me to note the following:

When attempting manual installation of said drivers, I note the BD & DFU for many other NI devices have been installed, in particular, all those recently deceased lol, as in no longer supported, but the driver installer's for Maschine + (both on offer) are useless, and I think it's to do with '+' being used as mentioned previously. (BD & BFU = boot = volume = + is illegal character

Seems My new 500gig sd keeps being corrupted, machine + just says no SD card (not a prob, got the origional)

Got it, seems my win was'nt as up to date as I thought, now updated to 0.1.9 :)

But hey, you'll want to address the '+' in naming the sdcard volume 'Maschine+' being it's an illegal character when it comes to formatting the card, feel free to close this :)

For the record: nim3pbd & nim3pdfu are made by microsoft, and were installed with KB5062649.

I see why finding NI support for MS drivers is difficult: NI aint MS.

As mentioned in another thread, C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository, is where to find these folders. I made a copy of these for backup purposes. If these folders are not there, you'll have the yellow triangle in device properties. Install the above update to resolve.
