Absynth 5 activation. How?

Hi.. I've just installed Windows 11 and wanted to install my old NI Komplete 6.
That worked, too. But now I can't activate my software exsample Absynth 5. I'm going around in circles.
How? Erlier we had the function offline-activation. But it's gone. I don't see "Activate" in the Native Access anywhere. Just Open. Activation support seems to have been discontinued since 2017.

What do I do now?

What makes you think it needs activating? If it says "open" next to it then IMO it's installed and activated. The licenses are linked to your account, so simply running Native Access and logging in with your account info should do the trick.

My Absynth 5 says Open next to it as well. If I click Open, it opens….

I am using Windows 11 and Absynth 5 installs and activates just fine.

Are you using latest version of Native Access for your OS as you should be ?

Are you logged into the correct account ? (Ref. : MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page)

Also a recent improvement is that you can now also download most stuff from your Account downloads , How to use the NI Download Manager (mis-leading title) , but product still will need activation using latest version of Native Access for your OS.

on anytime i start absynth 5 (latest update installed), it popups the DEMO BUY ACTIVATE window. if i click on activate, my Native Access opens and nothing happend. I reinstall the software, but same thing every time. What did i wrong?

I got all my Serial # in my Acoount. It is coming with the Komplete 6 back in the day. I can't see Absynth 5 as a seperate Synth. It was included if i remember right

I have Absynth 5.3.4 in my config - and it activates just fine with NA v3.19.x.

For the record - Komplete 6 is from October 2009 and used the long retired Service Center.

Without knowing what version of Native Access you are using - we are going around in circles.

How did you install ? Did you install on top of an older version ?

Try uninstalling Absynth 5 , then also run the NI reg tool and remove Absynth if there .

Then reboot computer , then run N.A. as an Admin and see if it will install (you might have to turn on show Discontinued products in N.A. preferences to get it to show)

Also check that you are logged into the correct account (Ref. : MY PRODUCTS, SERIALS, AND DOWNLOADS page)

If that doesn't work either then there possibly could be a user access issue or something… Or a N.A. problem.

In the good old "Service Center" is called -Activated-
But my NA don't regonized that. Any time i open the standalone or in the reason 13 DAW, the DEMO BUY ACTIVATE Popup comes up. Grrrrrr

In the Service Center, i can see my Serial#, my System-ID, and my activation key.

Service Center is a retired not supported app. It's of no use in this connection.

Did you try my advice above ?

You have to enter Licence number of your Komplete 6 to Native Access. (Licence Number came with Komplete 6 Box, or you may also find it at your NI user account.) Native Acces should then activate all parts of the bundle.

Service Center has been out of service for several years…. It has no connection to NI servers any more. It knows nothing about your licences……

i did, but, it shows Successfuly - now i can use - but, if i click OPEN in NA it comes back the popoup with Absynth 5 DEMO BUY ACTIVATE - When i click ACTIVATE it'S open NA again without any reaction.

Frrr.. I DON'T KNOW! Hate it :-P
