Maschine 3.2 - Record Count in doesn't work without NI hardware

I'm using the Maschine 3 software without a NI Maschine Controller. Just a midi controller to record notes.

I can't get the Record Count in working in the Desktop Software. Holding shift and press record button in Maschine doesn't work. I configured on the midi screen settings, 1 bar pre count.

How to do this? Even the manual doesn't give a clue.

Command-Shift-Space should trigger the count-in on a Mac. For any PC people with the same problem it's Ctrl-Shift-Space.
