As a long-time customer, DJ and artist with tractor products, I am probably the first in our large community who dares to write this.
In many ways, we use the Traktor F1 as an important part of our set to still present Native Instruments to the outside world, at least unofficially. We patiently accept the ups and downs of the company. Whether it is restructuring new co-owners. Whether it was a decades-long still about Traktor Pro.
We have always been patient. Because Native instruments has always said that the community is very important to them. However, the company works absolutely anti-cyclically according to the postulated company philosophy. In connection with the F1 tractor, we simply want planning security at last. Clear communication. Speculation has been going on for a long time about a further development of the Remix Decks. On the software side. Which is to be welcomed.
On the hardware side, the sale of the only really extensively usable controller F1 will be discontinued. No explanation of how to proceed. Let's move on. And if so. How. Without further speculation.
Will there be pirate marketing like the X1 or Z1 again? Will there be a release of an F1 MK2 in the foreseeable future. If not. Which third-party providers will be provided with mappings to ensure the continued use of Remix Decks with a controller supported by Native Instruments?
As artists and DJs who passionately represent Native Instrument unofficially free of charge, we deserve answers. We would like to ask for a clear, non-speculative statement regarding the use of the Remix Decks with certified hardware from Native Instruments?
We ask for a statement that also ensures planning security for us artists.
Best regards
