HI…

As of today, all five of my F1 controllers are broken—mostly due to issues with the USB port. Connection problems and then nothing. Now I want to buy a new one, only to find out that even Native Instruments no longer offers the F1 controller. That’s a nightmare, because it’s a key part of my setup and I’ve been playing like this for over 10 years.
Does anyone know if or when new F1 controllers will be released?!?
I feel like I’m drifting in a lifeboat right now.

You could just get the USB ports replaced by an electronics technician. They're only around £1/$1 each, plus a fee for whoever does the repairs.

F1 used for 150€ at reverb. There are more floating around. Get your USB connection fixed first. I shot my S4Mk1 with the same procedure.

They are often available for under 100 EUR on the used market.

Nobody - who is allowed to tell us - knows if there will be a F1 Mk2 at all. And if there will be one nobody will tell us now when it will be available. If there will be one it will be released most likely late summer or fall this year. As X1 Mk3 was released late 2023 and Z1 Mk2 late 2024.

But looking at X1 and Z1: The older models were sold up until the new one were available. One day Z1 Mk1 was listed on NI website next day it was replaced by Mk2. Not sure what it means for a F1 Mk2 but at least it is a bit less likely that it will appear soon or at all. That Traktor wasn't mentioned in last community update at all doesn't raise the trust in something new the next months. Only upon questions from several users there was the statement that 2025 will be a big year for Traktor - well first half of 2025 wasn't for sure. Maybe something big is coming for real or not. NI will tell us soon - for sure. Soon… Heard this to often by now.

Back to F1: Right now your options are - as already stated by others in this thread - limited to buying one of the last rare units still in few stores, buying second hand or repair your units.

Nobody knows what new hardware is and when it is coming out. How do you break the Usb-B port? I could never break one on any DJ hardware :)
