Can anyone help me obtain a replacment headphone jack pcb for Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 please. I'm after teh complete part, not messing about with soldering
Buying a single generic replacement socket will undoubtedly be much cheaper than buying an entire S2 (working or otherwise), 99.99% of which will not be required.
Also, if said S2 is as old or older than the unit being repaired, the socket could have seen considerable use, and could be in poor condition, compared to a new socket.
Should I assume that you've searched Google and not found anything?
IMHO it's going to be far cheaper, quicker and easier to just fit a standard socket and solder the three wires from the connector directly to the socket. If you consider it "messing about", get someone with experience to do it for you.
I expect easiest way to obtain that part is to look for an S2 Mk3 that is sold for parts. Unfortunately NI usually doesn't sell spare parts.
