I have native komplete kontrol s88 mk2.

Can I use the keyboard with an external midi expander without a PC?

Yes you can, you will need to setup the MIDI assignments in Komplete Kontrol in standalone, choose what CCs are affected to the knobs, on which MIDI channel you want to emit. You can only store one template or set of assignments in the keyboard that will be available when not connected to USB and KK4s software.
