X1 MK3 is not recognized

I just purchased the X1 MK3, and I am running the S8 controller.

I was running Traktor 3 but purchased the upgrade to 4 a couple of days ago, then purchased the x1. I updated everything, then opened native access, entered the serial, and then checked my native instruments account to make sure it's listed. It was. I then plugged the X1, and it lit up, then only the 3-line orange light is on (the top). I open up Traktor four, and for some reason, I see xi mk2 listed under the s8 control panel. x1 still doesnt work. What should I do?
