Issue With License Transfer After Buying Used Traktor S4 MKII

I recently bought a second-hand Traktor Kontrol S4 MKII from a private seller. Unfortunately, he can’t locate the email linked to the product, so he’s unable to transfer the license to me. I’m now trying to get access to the Traktor software, but I’d like to pay for the upgrade rather than the full license—since I already own the hardware

    Hey @Jay Shinanda ,

    welcome to the community. If you cannot obtain a license transfer ID from previous owner you'll have to contact NI support. You will need a proof of purchase and a picture of the hardware serial on the device in this process. I added two links one with information on buying or selling NI products second hand and the other one helps on contacting support. Keep in mind that NI support works during business hours in Germany. Therefore do not expect a reaction before Monday after you have created your support ticket.

    The Traktor license of your S4 Mk2 has to be registered in your Native Instruments account to be eligible for discounted upgrade pricing.
