Settings - default and saved settings

i have Traktor Pro 4 and everytime I shut down my laptop, it does not seem to remember settings that I had configured last time

DJ 750 MK2 - using 4 channels. I set channel 1 to input 1&2 etc. channel 2 to 3&4. if I close my device, next time I open the program, its forgotten these and defaults to other .

any help?

    This is the first and often most effective step for permissions-related saving issues.

    Right-click on your Traktor Pro 4 shortcut (on the desktop or in the Start menu).

    Select "Run as administrator."

    Make your audio routing changes (Channel 1 to 1/2, Channel 2 to 3/4, etc.).

    Close Traktor Pro 4 normally. Do not force quit or just shut down the laptop without closing Traktor first.

    Reopen Traktor Pro 4 (still as administrator for the first few times) and check if the settings saved.

    If this works, you can make it permanent: Right-click the shortcut > Properties > Compatibility tab > check "Run this program as an administrator" > Apply > OK.

    new laptop , Im on Windows 11

    on my older laptop, windows 10, this didnt happen. it would remember all input /output configurations.

    its frustrating now, every time I start the program, I have to configure it, please help
