if and when ramping automation curves become a thing in maschine's automation

consider making BPM a automatable parameter, as this will be very useful both in utilising the "Locks" feature and have some practical use with DJ software that can utilise link or clock

You can use Ableton for Mobile, you can as me record performance you can dedicated even more so you master the Grid which can do easily half , normal and twice faster BPM and rest is your imagination. Other DAW's or Master programs for mobile and Tablets can do fine tuning BPM precisely to the decimal so what I want to say is that maybe your suggestion is not priority compared to other suggestions but your idea is something that would be used, there's no doubt about that but some other features are more needed or some are missing and it's hard to do a programming for all what is NI.

You can do it on a "per scene" basis, as of 3.0, but it would be sweet if they also implemented the ability to automate BPM according to a curve.

funnily enough i was testing the BPM change per scene on 3.0…

and what i observed, was… if using ableton-link the BPM/scene change is disabled(meaning BPM changes dont respond when link is enabled)

however

if setting maschine as a master-clock(send clock enabled)… then the BPM/scene responds accordingly

….

so my current thinking to use maschines master send clock simultaneously with link(dj software)… is put a program such as midilink sync in between maschine and the application which utilises midi to abletonlink…

by doing it that way… your scene changes can be instant… the drawback is ableton link ever so slightly goes out of sync when stabilising if a big bpm shift takes place
