Sidechain Compression is not working at all

in Battery 4

Hi colleagues,

I'm recently started working with Battery 4, and everything is very intuitive and works fine. Except Sidechain Compression. I assign a cell (kick drum) to the SC compressor on the bus, the litte "SC" appears in the cell. It looks fine, but the SC compressor is not triggered at all. All parameters are set, and have not a single impact, the compressor remains inactive like it is deactivated. (And for sure it's activated)

Has anyone an idea what could be the problem here?

    It's working neither if I user only the master chanel. The cell is assigned to the Sidechain, but causes absolut no reaction on the compressor. I tried it differnt kits and made a re-install of Battery. Still the same behaivor, no matter if a use it as plugin (in Ableton) or in standalone mode.

    Hello,

    i can confirm the issue, it only works if i drag the side chain comp onto the first place in the fx chain.
