Multiple issues with player libraries and automation IDS
hi all.
I am sure everyone here is aware of the Analog dreams etheral earth and noire etc etc issues with the shambolic and reckless update procedure. I thought I was through all that but NO!
I have just loaded up my projects for final tweaks before presenting and Noire Ethereal Earth and Analog dreams patches i have created are not loading.
Firstly I get the kontakt spalsh page saying there is an issue when loading in Logic.
It can not find 600 odd sounds in one project in another its 300 odd sounds.
The Content library has not been moved or renamed.
I ama aware of being able to download the earlier version of the instruments but I am so worried about losing my carefully crafted patch (Specifically a noire particle patch I spent a long time on.) But have also in earlier sessions had all my autoamtion go walkies as an update seemingly change the parameter ids.
Can anyone help with this ****** show. I work in VFX if this kind of stuff was being done in the background without giving the post houses a heads up they that software comapny would be sued by every post house. People make a liviing from their music what the hell is going on at NI

At the moment it seeam I have Kontakt player 7
And what I amr realy unsure of is how the parameter ids are mapped when run through Komplete kontrol.
I had a Monark patch with some meticulous automation that went walkies and now I think I am pretty sure what happened.
The ids changed after updating the kk software.
Any help greatly appreciated.

On the 28./0824 I worked on a project with no problems.
I opened it up yesterday and
Noire
cloud supply and analog dreams instruments were all not working. The only message was could not locate library.
I have not moved the libraires. I pointed them to the place where I know the libraries are and the message was this version of Kontakt is out of date.

What version of Kontakt are you using? Some of the libraries were updated so they require K7 rather than K6.

IThats the problem.
For instance my analog dreams patch is based on version one of the instrument it seems the file is overwritten by a v2 and my patch is no longer there.
There seems to also be an issue with parameter ids changing and thus carefully crafted autiomation is lost.
PLease tell me im wrong here but ive been using automation on all my plugins and ive so far had it disapear after kk software updates on Monark TRK 01 And no noire and thereral earth0 -
Im using Kontakt player 7.10.6 now apparenetly. Doe this work with earlier Kontakt libraries im so unsure of evrything now and am nervous every time I load aproject mith KK which is ALL of them as there is always something that does not work or does not sound as it did in a previious session.
First time ive experienced this with any software ive used and i bought into the KK ecosystem for simplicity and a fluid work environment.

@JCA There is a Kontakt 7.10.8 coming soon to address these issues. It has already been rolled out for Kontakt 8. If you want to try this version, I can send it to you by direct message to test out.
Please note that if you are using Logic, there is an automigration system, so using only the last version of the Kontakt plug-in should work automatically. More info here: Notes about Auto-Migration of Kontakt Versions in DAW Projects
