Just purchased Mikro Mk3 but native access only offering maschine 2

The subject says it all. i say a few months back there was finally new maschine 3 software. I was a first edition maschine MK1 buyer back in the day, I liked it a lot for a while, but by time I also purchased maschine 2 software I felt like the old hardware was not well integrated, and the install of the software was not solid enough to use. I was a little bummed that NI killed off old hardware, but I bit the bullet and purchased a new Mikro and was looking forward to maschine 3, how do I DL the new version 3 software that came with my Mikro?

I opened a ticket for support last week, but NI does not respond to customer support. I have been staring at the new Mikro for a while now and have not been able to install.

I use Apple silicon so I needed the new M chip version to avoid workarounds

Thanks for the help!

    Hello,

as you already know it should have come with maschine 3 software but unfortunately only support can help you out here. You could use v2 until you get v3 you can use the projects and both versions are not that far off with functionality so far. And v2 should also work on apple silicon. So please wait a bit native instruments will contact you for sure, right now is sale and lot's of questions to answer for them, I know not ideal. I also can mark @Jeremy_NI maybe he can ask support and find out what's going on.

I appreciate the response. I already have owned V2 software (and updates) for some time, I don't want the older software in my computer, hence the new Mikro. i hope they contact soon, i'd hate to think they are answering questions from people who might buy, and letting customers who already paid wait.

If you load the old software it'll work with the MK3, and when you get the new licence for Maschine 3 you can install it. Maschine 2 is fine on M-series Macs, I have it here on an M3 and M4 Pro, both running 15.5. Support is busy at the moment because of the sales, and I assume they're processing requests in order rather than prioritising sales.

Yep, they're showing up - just suggesting a way to use the hardware before you get the Maschine 3 software :) Once support get around to your ticket I'm sure they'll get you working.
