Trouble with transferring files to my new hard drive

I changed to a new hard drive and I'm getting a lot of invalid pathway in red and I'm not sure what to do, most of my files were transferred but when I try to repair the file or reinstall it just says it can't and that I need to change the pathway, which I did but it doesn't seem to recognize it any help would greatly appreciate

Well, after trying to transfer files from smaller hard drive to larger one with more storage I've changed the Download location in the Preferences, I'm getting the orange exclamation mark by a lot of my files. I've tried to repair them and or reinstall them and I'm getting a choose a location and a red Invalid path or directory. So when I try to repair or reinstall from Native Access, it shows Starting… at the bottom left corner and nothing happens so I'm asking, has anyone had this issue and is there a way this can be fixed or repaired, please anyone help I'd really appreciate any assistance thank you in advance

@the_real_Py What is your operating system? What is the format of the external hard drive? If you're on Mac, the format should be APFS, as explained here: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
