I just shopped the update and is not working is just getting stuck at the boot up. So to understand now, after reading the discussion here that this is a common problem and Native Instruments still sell a buggy program. big disappointment. Is the same problem like the others have.

The problem is that the Native Access 2 app creates a mess during the library installation process. I redid the full Windows 11 installation and first installed the Native Instruments content, carefully following what it does and which paths it uses. I initially set up the path I wanted for the library (my libraries were already there) and then instructed the Native Access app to use that path. Of course, it didn’t work for all libraries!

From here, things started to make sense. When I checked the Library folder, I found that almost all the new and updated content was duplicated, with "Library" added to the end of the naming scheme for each pre-existing library. They have changed the naming scheme in just one year, so if you want to update to a new version of Kontakt, you will be forced to reinstall all the libraries for everything to work properly. It’s just a mess.

The same issue happened with the IK Multimedia software, creating even more instability in the system's behavior. So if you want to update your software, be prepared for a full system reset on Windows, though.

The same thing happens to me, I just installed it and it freezes when I start it. It stays on scan vst plugin (231/231): waveshell3-vst 12.0_x64.

Support is a joke, of course. I hope someone knows how to proceed.

So, after the system reset, everything works—including the Waves shells (Waves plugins). Their app causes the problem, but they won’t acknowledge it. A fix will eventually come, but based on my experience, it will likely take more than half a year.
