Thanks for the response PoorFellow. I couldn't find any information with anyone having the same detection issue lets call it hence me asking. I think I will add another dedicated NVME for Komplete with a fresh install and take it from there. I have been meaning to do it for a while to be honest. I wasn't sure if there was a fixed one time gate keeper price on the first upgrade from Standard to Ultimate kind of thing. The normal pricing is as you say and not a problem.

I will add the drive with a fresh install and take it from there. Worst case scenario I can always pick it up on version 16 or the next sales so it feels less of a hit on the pocket. It was more the hassle of adding the drive etc that put me off over the £89 difference to be honest. It's a bit of a chore :)

As far as I remember, the base product used is always the oldest one available in your account.

Btw: this new page (see picture) makes it more difficult to see and understand the various upgrade/update paths.

Probably it has been realized to propose directly the best price available for the user, but I find it less transparent (and useful). For at least a couple of reasons.

First being that if someone wants to use a different path (maybe even a more expensive one, maybe because he plans to sell the bundle he already has and use another one as base product), this page not showing all available paths makes things more difficult (if not even not possible).

Second is that NI website is not famous for never failing in proposing something.

Yeah , I do understand with respect to the 'a bit of a chore'.

Anyway , if you still want to see if N.I.Support (all) will let you swap the Standard update for the Ultimate upgrade for the difference in price then you ought to ask while your purchase is very recent. As I wrote then I don't know what they will say but it shouldn't hurt to send a polite inquiry and ask 🙂

Unfortunately I was not able to get through, or get a reply. Was looking at Izotope Music Production Suite, or maybe to move from Ozone 11 Standard to Advanced. The price for the former has now increased while the latter is unchanged, though both now show an Update as well as a Full price.

I already have Ozone 11 Standard through Kontakt 15CE. Not clear if that enables the update price or a Crossgrade - though apparently not as only Full goes into the basket if either is selected. And either way I cannot get the voucher code and the price of MPS7 has gone up 😢

Do we have an answer from NI on the 10% Voucher some received, but not everyone? I'm interested in adding more stuff to my shopping cart… But I did not receive the voucher. I tried contacting NI support, but still without any answer for more then 2 weeks now.

That was my guess too… These are tied to the user.

This seam like a simple thing to answer:

A- Sorry guys we had some technical difficulties, you should receive your code shortly…

or

B- Sorry guys these Vouchers code are part of a targeted marketing wave. Only selected user received one. Better luck next time.

or

C- Sorry guys but we had a limited amount of those and they were sent at random among subscribed users.

NI please just be transparent and honest, so people stop speculating about that and stop create tickets that definitely does not help your support team.

Just to clarify, not everyone receives the extra 10% voucher code. If you’ve shopped online before, you might know this is a fairly common marketing practice. That said, we hope you understand that we can’t publicly share details about our strategy.

If you didn’t get a code, feel free to drop a comment in this thread. Someone who isn’t using theirs might be willing to pass it along.

Click on Komplete Standard Update for £89.50 and as if by magic it's £224.50

Update is an update from Komplete Standard 2-14 to Komplete Standard 15.

According to your screen shot you only own a license of Komplete Select, therefore you aren't eligible for an update.

You need an upgrade from Komplete Select to Komplete Standard 15 instead of the update. The upgrade price is GBP 224.50 during Sound of Summer. And most likely (not sure about UK pricing as I am located in Germany) GBP 449 after end of sale.

NI distinguishes between updates and upgrades. In general updates keep you within your current tier (Select, Standard, Ultimate, Collectors Edition) and just update to the current version of Komplete. Upgrades are moving your Komplete bundle to a higher tier as you currently own but are pricier as the updates as you are usually getting much more additional content. With a Komplete 15 upgrade to you are getting the also the update to the current version.
