What are the benefits adding X1 and/or F1 to my S4MK3? for dummies please

hello everybody

tried to understand what the benefit of adding a X1 and/or F1 to my beloved S4Mk3 is, but didn´t get it

can you pls explain/describe me? if possible in "for dummies"-way 😔

    X1 will not add much. Makes it possible to control deck C/D without switching. And if you have 4 effects banks you can now control fx 3 and 4.

    s3 + x1 makes more sense as the s3 does not have any fx bank control at all.

    F1 gives you very good control over stem decks or remix decks.

    so X1 "only" give me better parallel controlling of C&D and add different FX to C&D?!

    F1 only stem & remix, mmmh. If I didn´t dreamd it I saw longer time ago a DJ who uses a small width controller to fire up samples, not sure if it was the F1 as he didn´t listed his used hardware. This would be a nice benefit instead of a Maschine Mikro

    Well you can fire samples on the remix deck.

    F1 is definitely more fun than an X1. There are multiple effects mappings over at DJTT MIdimaps that you can check out (Hint: Tekken F1) but also you can control Remix Deck sequencer or a Pattern Player sequencer.
