Another Midi Maschine Misfortune?

This will sound complicated but its absolutely not so Ill try my best to simplify the issue: (All settings are correct in midi channel i.e. Group one is midi ch. 1 Input/Group 2 is ch.2 input, etc) The issue: cross interference of midi ch.s AFTER (not before) of midi messages on recorded automations. The control midicc#80 automation on Group 1/patter1 midi ch.1 is interfering with cc#80 automation on Group 2/patern 2 midi ch. 2 Basically, I record an automation with knob 1 cc#80 (from midi controller midi ch.1) onto Maschine Midi ch, 1/Group 1 Arturia Jup 8. Now on a completely separate channel (midi ch.2) I record another automation from midi controller midi ch.2 knob 1 cc#80 to Maschine Midi ch. /Group 2 Arturia Juno 6. (Keep in mind, while playing group 1 Jup 8 on Maschine, I can control ch. 2 Juno 6 with midi controller midi ch, 2 knob to modulate the cutoff - obviously not effecting the Jup 8 on the other channel. They re on completely separate ch.s - simple enough). The same Keyboard controller off/on midi messages can record notes on multiple channels no problem. No cross interference. BUT now when I play back the two tracks, the automation on Group 2 causes glitches in the automation on Group 1. What the heck? I disconnected midi controller just to rule any incoming messages. But thats not it because as mentioned, I can turn the knob on ch. 2 to control Group 2 synth without it effecting the cutoff on synth Group 1/ ch. 1.

    I guess my main concern is when I have a number of tracks with multiple automations, am i going to have to make sure when mapping knobs to synths on other midi channels that I dont use the same cc#?

    Midi automation is a pain in maschine , generally you want to stick to maschines modulation , but obviously that can only be recorded from a maschine controller or kk controller , ie S and A series keyboards

    I’ll have a look later , and see if I can work out what’s going on

    But midi definitely needs some improvements, hoping they come at some point , but I’m mostly in the box atm , I do have a Caladan on pre order tho , so would love to see some improvements
