Been Away

Hey all,

I had taken a step back from Djing for a few years to raise some kids and advance my professional career. Been missing the art so I'm trying to get back in to. Currently have the S4 controller and Traktor Scratch Pro 2 software. My issue is that I can't seem to download/reactivtae my software. I downloaded the latest version of Native Access but each time I try to download or click the activate icon, the download fails. I can see my purchased software on the main site but I can't download for some reason. Screenshots attached for reference. Any help us greatly appreciated.

What Mac with which version of macOS are you using? Your screenshot looks like a newer version of macOS. Traktor (Scratch) Pro 2 is only supported up to macOS 10.13 High Sierra. You need at least Traktor Pro 3 with newer versions of macOS. With macOS 15 Sequoia you officially need Traktor Pro 4.

Native Access doesn‘t offer Traktor Pro 2 on Macs with unsupported macOS versions.

As you only wrote S4: If it is an S4 Mk1 it won‘t work on macOS at all these days - the drivers are only available for macOS up to 10.11 El Capitan. You need Windows or and old Mac with that OS version to use it. Mk2 and Mk3 versions of S4 are class compliant and work with macOS without special drivers.

Your best bet is finding an older mac( 2011, 2012). Also, WindowsPC won't care how old is the hardware (if indeed it is MK1 version) so maybe that's the cheapest solution to get your old HW to work again. Good luck and welcome back!

Thanks for the responses gents. I've been out of the game so long, it makes sense my software is out of date. I'll just have to upgrade to Pro 4 and hope my S4 is the MK2 or higher (which I think it is). If not then this will be an expensive upgrade for sure! I'm currently running Sequoia macOS 15 so Pro 4 it is.

You can test with Traktor Pro 4 demo before you upgrade. If you have to buy new hardware it contains a Traktor Pro 4 license if it is new NI stuff.
